Tour de India Holidays — Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully. By booking with us you agree to the terms below.

All correspondence(s) in respect of tour and travel service bookings should be addressed to M/s. Tour de India Holidays. By booking any tour, service, or package through our company, you agree to the terms and conditions described below.

1. Payments

For all services contracted, an advance payment must be made to confirm the booking. The balance amount should be paid either:

  • Before the start of your tour (for clients within India or departing from your home country), or
  • Upon arrival in India, but strictly before the commencement of services.

The management reserves the right to determine the advance payment amount based on the type of service, destination, and time left before the commencement of the tour.

2. Cancellation Policy

In the event of cancellation of tour or travel services due to any reason (avoidable or unavoidable), notification must be made in writing. Cancellation charges will apply from the date we receive written confirmation of the cancellation.

Cancellation charges are as follows:

  1. 30 days prior to arrival: 10% of the tour/service cost
  2. 15 days prior to arrival: 25% of the tour/service cost
  3. 07 days prior to arrival: 50% of the tour/service cost
  4. 48 hours prior to arrival OR No Show: No Refund

Note: Written cancellations are accepted only on working days (Monday–Saturday). Any communication received on Sunday will be processed the next working day (Monday).

3. No Refund Policy

a) Tour Cancellations

Once the tour has commenced, no partial or full refund will be made for any unused portion of the trip or services, including hotel accommodations, transportation, sightseeing, meals, or any other services that are not utilized due to the client’s own decision, delay, illness, or any other reason.

If a traveler chooses to voluntarily curtail, cancel, or leave the tour mid-way, the company shall not be liable to refund any amount or provide any alternate service for the unutilized portion of the tour.

b) Flight Ticket Cancellations

All flight bookings made through Tour de India Holidays are subject to airline policies and fare rules. No refund will be applicable for canceled, rescheduled, or missed flights, irrespective of the reason including personal emergencies, medical issues, or visa denials.

In case of flight cancellations or rescheduling by the airline, the refund (if any) will be processed solely as per the airline’s terms and timeline. The company acts only as a booking intermediary and has no control over airline refund or rebooking policies.

4. Our Liabilities & Limitations

After the finalization of the tour/service cost, if there is any increase in entrance fees to monuments or museums, government taxes, fuel costs, or guide charges imposed by authorities, the same will be charged as extra.

Tour de India Holidays acts solely as an agent for hotels, airlines, transporters, railways, and contractors providing other services. All exchange orders, receipts, contracts, and tickets issued by us are subject to the terms and conditions under which these services are provided.

All itineraries are sample itineraries designed to give a general idea of the likely schedule. Factors such as weather, road conditions, or participants’ physical abilities may necessitate changes before or during the trip. We reserve the right to make such changes in the interest of participants’ safety, comfort, and well-being.

Our rates are based on prevailing prices as negotiated with hotels and airlines. Since these suppliers retain the right to modify their rates without notice, we may adjust our prices accordingly to reflect such changes. All hotel bookings follow standard check-in and check-out times unless otherwise stated in the itinerary.

5. Force Majeure / Non-Liability

We shall not be responsible for any delays, alterations, or expenses incurred directly or indirectly due to:

  • Natural calamities, landslides, or weather conditions
  • Flight delays or cancellations
  • Accidents or breakdown of machinery
  • Political closures, strikes, or civil disturbances
  • Epidemics, quarantine, or government restrictions
  • Any other circumstances beyond our control

We shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage to person or property in connection with accommodations, transportation, or other services resulting directly or indirectly from any such causes beyond our control.

6. Insurance

Tour de India Holidays does not provide any insurance coverage for accidents, sickness, loss due to theft, or other reasons. Clients are strongly advised to arrange appropriate travel and health insurance in their home country before commencing the trip. All baggage and personal belongings are carried entirely at the client’s own risk.

By confirming a booking with Tour de India Holidays, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted all the above terms and conditions.
